The tech giant has gained over 7.4 million followers on Instagram. This campaign makes users feel further connected with the company as Apple is spotlighting their pictures.

Apple has gathered photos from 77 people across 24 different countries. Apple has expanded the #ShotoniPhone campaign to not only social media but large billboards in metropolitan cities, bus stops, train stations, and high-rise buildings. The campaign was created in 2015 to introduce the new iPhone 6 with an improved camera and larger display and has since continued to showcase photos from each new iPhone release. Since Apple has introduced 4K video recording the hashtag now includes videos. The company fosters a connection with its users even in 2018, three years after the creation of the campaign.
